English as a 2nd language

Open up the doors of opportunity for all Moroccan students by introducing English as the second language and french or spanish as the third language options. This will allow them to more easily work in countries like Dubai, USA, Canada and other first world english speaking countries. It will also allow them to more easily access companies like ONPASSIVE, which is an online business opportunity currently closing their Founders positions to members. It is a highly sought after position that mostly english speakers will know about FIRST because it is USA based as are most online opportunities. Sometimes students are struggling with home issues which are a barrier to their success in the classroom.

The school week should be Monday to Friday with no weekends and six hour days with optional extra classes of up to 2 hours for students that need extra help, guidance and clarification of the lessons. Adequate support for students should be provided by the school after hours if needed. There should be printed notes or photocopied pages handed out to students to aid their learning instead of expecting students to spend hours and hours writing out notes. This is a waste of time.

Students that are more technically enclined need to be better catered for and there should be more options for creative subjects instead of only academic ones.

The level of passing should be reduced to 40% to give all students a better chance to pass and move to a higher level of education. School should cater to all students and not only the brightest of them. They all deserve an equal opportunity.

Basketball for boys and not just netball for girls should be a sports option and if swimming pools could be constructed and swimming taught to students that would be fantastic as it is sunnah to learn to swim. Morocco is a hot country and it would be a perfect sport for students to enjoy.

School should be made more fun and not so harsh for students. Bring back some fun! There should also be school excursions to museums and places of interest and summer holiday programs for students.
